There are two ways you can edit existing medias or modes.

Edit Profiles

The first options is recommended for users who also want to verify other settings in addition to making new changes to the profile. This is done within the edit workflow and requires you to review each step before clicking > next to continue.

To edit an existing profile in the workflow use the following steps:

  1. From the Media Manager Home window click > Edit Profiles.
  2. Click > Edit Media (or Edit Mode).
  3. Choose the media you wish to modify from the drop-down list and click > Next to continue.
  4. Make your changes on the step(s) you wish to edit.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the media profile with the changes applied. This may require you to print and read swatches or verify a final test print.

View Media Library

The second options is recommend for advanced users who want to access a specific step and make modifications.  This is done within the media library and requires you to choose your media and mode from the list.

To edit an existing profile in the library use the following steps:

  1. From the Media Manager Home window click > View Media Library.
  2. Click on the mode you wish to edit and expand the tree structure to view all of the media.
  3. Click on the media you wish to edit and expand the tree structure to view all of the steps. Each step is represented by a folder and the files within are the actual tables and file data.
  4. Choose the step you want to edit and click > Edit from the right-hand menu. This will take you to that specific step in the workflow allowing you to make your changes and continue as necessary.

If you have multiple files within each folder (for example you created 2 different ICC files with different build options when testing) you can use the right-click options to set the desired file as the default. It will display a green check next to the correct file.
